SCHEDULING
When you call to schedule your appointment, please advise us of your signs and symptoms, as well as any information on your referral slip or from your referring dentist. If you have urgent pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you the same day.
"Complicated" Cases
More complicated cases including difficult diagnosis, previous endodontic treatment or retreatment, surgery, resorption and some fractures may require a dedicated consultation appointment in order to allow time for CT scans, and careful review of treatment options. Cases involving sedation will also require a dedicated consultation prior to treatment.
Emergency Treatment
If you are in significant pain or in need of urgent care, we will make every effort to accomodate you ASAP. We are on-call to manage urgent circumstances after hours for patients of record and for patients of our referring Doctors.
Staying On Schedule
We are constantly conscious of staying on schedule and minimizing delays. However, given the technical nature of endodontics and the attention to detail that we give to every case, circumstances may arise that may prolong treatment time. Accommodating patients who may be suffering from serious pain or infection is also a reality of Endodontic practice. We typically are able to help emergency patients with minimal disruption to the schedule, but this is not always possible. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience!
Cancellation and rescheduling
We thank you for giving as much advance notice as possible should there be a change in your schedule.
